LOG EVERYTHING
Download noteOS
ZIP file · files only · no installation
You know you wrote it down somewhere.
noteOS keeps it — structured, findable, analyzable.

What it is

  • A file-based notes & logging system for everything you can put into words.
  • Every entry follows the same structure — which makes content comparable and searchable.
  • No server, no app black box: you keep the files; the AI only uses what you upload.

What you get

  • You stop wondering where something is — only that it was captured matters.
  • Old thoughts become working material again: summarize, bundle, compare, continue.
  • Notebook analytics: spot patterns across weeks/months without “tagging” everything first.

Where it helps

Everyday: ideas, to-dos, reflection, journaling
Learning: notes, reading notes, raw material for flashcards
Writing: drafts, rough versions, argument sketches
Projects: decisions, status, open questions, next steps
Relationships: conversations, agreements, recurring themes
Long-term thinking: developments, patterns, recurring triggers

How it works

  1. You type or dictate — or upload text/files.
  2. noteOS assigns the content to a fitting log (or you specify it explicitly).
  3. The content is normalized into a fixed structure and appended to the log (append-only).
  4. Later you just ask: summaries, retrospectives, cross-links, patterns — grounded in your logs.
Append-only · files stay under your control · no hidden state

Setup

  1. Download ZIP
  2. Unzip
  3. Create a new project in your LLM
  4. Upload files and start
Setup usually takes 2–3 minutes.

Optional:
If you want to skip the setup, you can start with presets — preconfigured log structures for common use cases. The system stays the same; you just save time.

Note: Presets are optional and paid. noteOS itself is free to use in full functionality for private, non-commercial use.
